On a slightly unrelated note I saw something that George Karl said that kind of irked me. He was talking about Ray Allen and said
"I have to assume he's a better player than Carter. Why? Because we're still playing and the Raptors aren't"
Lovely. George Karl whose team got past two unexperienced teams en route to the finals rips the guy who almost singlehandedly took his team past the Knicks and the Sixers.
I guess he also thinks Steve Kerr is a better player than Chris Webber.
Actually I agree with the Brown as Coach of the Year vote.
Despite everything you may want to say about the talent he has the man somehow held this team together. Do people still remember the off season where it looked like AI would be dealt because he and Brown couldn't get along?
Others may have done a better job getting the most out of the talent they have(Why wasn't anyone talking about whoever is coaching the Clippers?) but nobody managed his team(And superstar) the way Larry Brown did.
