Navarre Beach

Been doing a lot of reading and have thoroughly enjoyed it. BUT, now I have a question y'all can help with. Wife and I will be in Navarre Beach in May and I seem to remember a thread about a nude beach there. Is it still open? Is it safe? I don't want to turn a vacation into a nightmare with the bluenoses.
