I put these together for a friend of mine, but I know many here have arthritis or gout, and these suggestions work for both

so if ya need help, try this:

Diet is an effective way to help with gout.

Eat lots of fish including tinned
Green leafy vegetables, salads, pulses, nuts, seeds, [sunflower and pumpkin], whole grain bread, chicken, grapes, apricots, peaches, filtered or bottled water, dandelion coffee, herbal teas.

Cut these from your current diet:

Red meat, pork, alcohol, tea, coffee, dairy product, refined flour, chocolate, fried foods including stir-fry, citrus fruits, gravy, root vegetables including potatoes, tomatoes, preservatives and additives

Take 1000 mg a day of vitamin C 250mg per day vitamin E, B-complex and beta carotene.
Cod liver oil is also beneficial. Take at least 2 teaspoons with 5 drops of evening primrose oil or borage seed oil added. This can be taken in milk or orange juice, and should be sipped slowly. If you are allergic to cod liver oil, then substitute halibut oil for it.

Do detox baths for two weeks. To each bath, add 2 handfuls of Epsom salts, and one of rock salt then add 4 drops of the following synergistic blend.

30 drops fennel oil
16 drops cypress oil
10 drops juniper oil

These quantities are enough for 14 days.

This will help you pass toxins thru urine and feces which will lessen the severity of your gout.

I copied your suggestions off for myself. Two major MVA in the past four years has left me with much arthritis discomfort, at times. I am bumping this to the front for a friend who needs this info, too.

Thanks

This is such an important topic, I'm sure they're are ALOT of people with arthritis and gout.......it's alot more popular than people seem to think it is.

As an arthritis sufferer, I hope more people respond to this thread.....Thank you for starting such a great thread.

Nancy Jean, Thank you so much for bumping it up,,,people need to know it's here. If they do, they may post some tips of thier own....like 100% Black Cherry juice for the gout!! Works wonders for my friend!! Even the Dr told him about that one!!

Thanks again....:D

we pretty much are in the same boat hunni :(

I have bulged, herniated and cut out discs, a separation in my spine, and now it's narrowing making it weaker

damaged the knees and ankles from ports, shoulders from weightlifting, and the wrists...I did that um typing ;)

I've actually broken my back 3 times in the last 10 years [car accidents, none my fault]

so not sure what advice I can give other than NOT to get on too heavy of a drug doseage, as that screwed me up worse. i quit taking all their shit, and my legs got stronger, back hurt less and my attitude was a lot better.

DLPA [made from papaya] is a good supplement for back injuries tho

and WD40 still contains DMSO, so if you spray it on your back or whatever jointt hurts, then put a paper towel over it and let it dry....that helps also

feel better hunni,

huggs,

pj
