I am pretty new to this site and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I have been reading some of the stories under Loving Wives and Interracial and found a great many comments from people that really disliked this subject matter regardless of the quality of the story. It seems to be personal with some of these people. In fact there are some racist remarks that are pretty brutal. Is this a prevailing wind in this website or am I just getting a bit kooky? And is this something that the website operators should be moderating?

Aye, Bazz - and welcome aboard. "Loving Wives" is rather famous for that habit. There are warring tribes who wish to enforce opposing views of what "loving wives" means, and so there is constant sniping and dissension.
I suggest "Non-Human" for a more kindly crowd. Friendly bunch. And everyone's pretty clear on what the topic means.

As for moderating the comments, that's entirely up to the individual author. Each author has the option of deleting any comments for any reason. Or not allowing them in the first place. Welcome!

Welcome aboard. Loving wives has become a hard category, I posted a fewstories there in my early lit days and they did well, the one in the recent past is still languishing at my lowest score ever *cringe* they're a hard crowd to please.
