Nastiest Feedback

I've got a guy who sends me emails demanding that I correspond with him.

Nothing like a demand to bring out the best and most congenial aspects of one's personality. You could probably demand that I eat chocolate ice cream and I'd still tell you to fuck off.

I mean ... I'd reply that I was charmed to be graced with your presence. Yes.

How come you won't you eat chocolate ice cream? You would really enjoy it and would want more and more. You really should eat it. Is everything all right? Are you sick? Is that why you won't eat? Eat now, right now, and you'll see how good it is.

after all of it was over, they got a douche for her made from battery acid and poison ivy, and then loaded her in a car and thrown her out in the middle of a busy thorughfare and let a truck run over her slut ass with 9 wheels..

Bad enough for the sluttery but the humiliation was inexcusable.

How nice. :D

That's on my latest story (The Party) which posted today. It's getting pummled. Well, no, it's not, it's either getting 5s, or 1s. Seems they either love it, or hate it. Ho hum, it is a Loving Wives story.

I like it, and so does the person I originally wrote it for. ;)

It's GREAT to get such venomous reactions from people. It shows the story had quite an impact on them.

Thanks, Anonymous! :rose:

Charge him.

Well, you see, according to my biggest fan, I'm the one missing out by not corresponding with him. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm supposed to be the one paying him...

Yor are 100% right. When readers tell me how much they hated a character in a story, or how rotten he or she was, etc., I take it to be a teriffic compliment. I am not known for characterization but if a character is real enough to be hated and despised, I have to think I am doing something well.

Precisely! Comments like that used to irk me a little, because I used to wish they'd commented on the writing, not the actual content of the story. But, I've come to realise that they are in fact commenting on the writing. As you said, for them to hate the character so much, they must have found them incredibly believable. To illicit such a reaction is a brilliant reflection on my writing. :D

Something sweeter spoiled my appetite.

It seems I now have an award named after me that has been mentioned in public comments on several other authors' stories. Said troll has proclaimed me the most inept writer on all of Literotica. He awards writers who he thinks are horrible (which seems to be anyone who posts on Lit) with the vix award. Sheesh. I guess maybe I should be flattered that I pissed him off so royally.

I'm pretty sure it's the same anonymous who left the comment I posted earlier in this thread.

Hey, you've got something named after you! That's a rare honor, and I would cherish it.

Personally, I'd like to have a genre or category named after me. Stories that have an historical or literary bent, average one sex scene per 9 Lit pages of story, and make sporadic attempts at symbolism, poetry, and/or period writing style are hereby deemed "Shanglanesque." Those also involving master-servant relationships are "hyper-Shanglanesque."

Fear it.

I guess a dubious honor is better than none at all, lol.

If a story were to be described as "boxlickerish" or "boxlickeresque" or similar term, I suppose it would be something devoid of plot or characterization or suspense or mystery or similar quality and 100% smut. I would consider such description to be a high honor.
