Now that Nano is done for the year, what is everyone doing with there novels? Or is everyone burned out on the topic? I've started a couple of threads (see my sigline) but no one seems interested. Is it just the holidays- or is it a cold topic? Should I leave those links in, or just cut them out? Nano was such a hot topic leading up to and through November, but now, no one really seems interested. What's up?

Sweet.

Mental exhaustion, coupled with looking forward to Christmas!

I've put my NaNo novel away for now, but will go back to edit it in a couple of months, with fresh eyes.

Once I've edited it, I plan to continue my search for an agent. Having two complete erotic horror novels under my belt should increase my chances of being taken seriously. Well, maybe a bit anyway.

I've been writing short stories since NaNo, but do plan to start a new novel in the new year.

It's not that I'm no longer interested, Sweet, it's that I have put a different emphasis on things, for a little while.

I shelved mine. Am home with my folks and my novel is back in NY on my compy. I'll be up to talking more when I am back :)

Mine sucks.

As a novel, that is. There are several individual chapters that are salvageable, and I'm currently working on tweaking a particulary porny chapter into a story for Lit.

I care ... but I haven't looked at my NaNo since finishing it. First I went on vacation and then I've been working on a HP fanfic (which is itself now at 90,000 words and nowhere near done! augh!) and then it's the holidays. I figured on taking it out again in the New Year and seeing if it's worth salvaging at all, and if so, I will revise it and see about maybe sending it around.
