Nancy.....who ?

This is a question for the TV baby's out there, can anyone remember an art show from about 20 - 25 year's ago called painting with Nancy, she was an American I think and she used a pallet knife to paint with, can you remember what her last name was.

I know this is a strange question but it's for my little sister and it is driving her nut's.
