I agree with Selena.
Couldn't figure out how to pronounce the first name on the top one, though I do like the last name.![]()

I didn't even think of Niamh as a girl's name when I first saw it. Is it?

TheEarl said:Niamh is pronounced Naah-ve (IIRC). It's Gaelic spelling, so the letters bear no relation to pronunciation if you think in English.
Personally, I like Niamh better, but I'll agree that I'm in a minority who'll know how to pronounce it.

It's nice to see someone else who knows how to pronouce it. In the staes, they usually change it and spell it Neve.As in Neve CampbellFallingToFly said:It's nice to see someone else who knows how to pronouce it. In the staes, they usually change it and spell it Neve.

I voted for Renee precisely because of pronounciation issues (I'm American). Honestly, I don't love either name, but names are quite subjective. Also, in this case something more unique may be ideal, in which case something more unusual could be beneficial.TheEarl said:Personally, I like Niamh better, but I'll agree that I'm in a minority who'll know how to pronounce it.
