Do you remember a book that came out in the late 70's or early 80's I think, it was a teasure hunt book with a secret prize to be found if you could work out the clues.

The treasure was a bejewelled hare that the author of the book made and hid someplace in the UK, now I know that the prize was found but for the life of me I can't remember what the name of the book was, can you put a name to the book...?

I think it was called Masquerade, and the man who won the hare did it by following a "minor" clue -- One of Six to Eight, which took him to the place that Catherine of Aragon was buried.

No one, apparently, solved the main riddle in the book.

It was a beautiful book, though.
