Some time ago I enjoyed several stories from an author but can't recall his name or find any of the stories I previously read. User name a "db" and 87 but couldn't find in author search. Stories took place in small Oregon town. The town patriarch was named Marcus. One story had the sheriff playing Santa Claus and re-,uniting with an old high school flame. Another hasa young boy finding out his mother is alive and owner/editor of the town newspaper.Another had an army vet come to town, become an archivist at a local museum. He writes a play about the towns history which is a hot at the annual town festival.
