Dodge marketed the Super Bee as a different car than the standard Coronet, but other than some cosmetics, there wasn't much difference in the two. I think the Super Bee had a longer wheelbase and a few more factory options.
But muscle cars were gearhead cars. Alterations and customization happened a lot.

One inch of extra wheelbase and three engines since it was meant to be Dodge's version of the Road Runner. Cheap, entry level speed. (At least in the first generation of the Super Bee.)

The Daytona (1969) and Superbirds (1970) were opposite end of the spectrum supercars. I consider this the best thread derailment ever! And I'm a Ford guy!
