I wish I could get health insurance for someone who needs a lot of care, and has none.

I wish I could get someone out of a living situation that is not only draining but dangerous.

I wish I could get permanent custody of someone I love's grandson for them. Daughter is a drug addict and in and out of jail.

I wish I could do whatever it is that the prodigal needs to make him get over whatever it is he is struggling with.

I wish I could make those dreams of Nat's that have not been realized yet...reality.

Sitting in bed on Christmas Eve eating the treats we had sneaked into our room and whispering about what we thought we got!

Going to camp with friends...dancing, swimming, singing, in general, we were at the camp of no cares. Would love to be able to get that back!

Camping trips with my favorite cousins on Lake Michigan.

Playing library (yes, sounds dull but was not) with my sisters in our folks garage. We literally had a lending library of all our books for our neighborhood kids in our garage.

Playing in the bombshelter with friends.

1. Getting my first proper bike and the freedom it gave me. Learning to ride hand frees.
2. Summer especially summer nights. The smell of jasmine, eating icy cold watermelon, being sun burnt to a crisp, family gatherings.
3. Playing tennis and football in my grandparent’s yard. The ball always landed in the vegetable patch. We would stomp all over them to get the ball and my granddad would get mad and chase us with the rake.
4. Spending time with my Mum Walking home from school, cooking and sewing with her. Her braiding my hair and crimping it too. Trying on her shoes and handbags.

Christmas Eve we all go to my parents house for Appetizers

We get Santa's Key out with my nieces and leave it on the porch
