The term "snakebit" in addition to meaning actually bit by a snake.. it can also mean to experience an unfortunate event or to go through a period of misfortune or to experience misfortune.
I do not know the original poster's intention. Why he used the thread title that he did. My guess though would be that because he has ghosted numerous times here that he believes it is similar to being "snakebit".
