Just when you were so frightened to eat at Wendy's...
atleast this time there wasn't a worry...but maybe being on guard isn't such a bad thing.

Finger lickin good

I'm curious, did this guy bring his finger over to their house?

"Hey. My finger got cut off."

"Yea?"

"Yup."

"Watcha gonna do with it?"

"Don't know yet."

"Can I have it?"

"Sure."

"Sweet."

I can think of much better uses for severed fingers...well maybe not better but definately more entertaining

It may seem gruesome but funny. However, consider this.

"Wendy's has said it has lost millions in sales since Ayala made the claim while visiting her family in San Jose. Dozens of employees at the company's Northern California franchises also have been laid off."

"The franchise where the claim was made saw an immediate 60 percent to 70 percent drop in business, said Stephen Jay, marketing director at JEM Management, which owns the restaurant. Business is still off 20 percent, he said."

Wendys has lost millions which means that not only has the company lost money, but all of the employees who have Wendy's stock in their retirement portfolios also lost money. Some employees have also lost their jobs. A lot of people have been hurt here.

Individual Wendy's locations are often owned by franchise holders. The same kind of effects that Wendy's is experiencing will also affect the franchise holders only more so. A lot more people have been hurt here and even more will be.

One woman's scheme has cost many people a lot of important money. The losses are not just to the "big, rich company," but also to many workers who have their life savings dependent upon their Wendy's retirement plans.

"The finger that a woman claimed she found in a bowl of Wendy's chili was severed in the tailgate of a truck during a work accident, an employee of an asphalt company said. "

and now we know.
