Mysterious neighbors

So I live out in a canyon in the foothills of southern Idaho. Directions to my house include turn off the paved road as the joke goes. Last year my two neighbors north and south of me sold their properties and both were bought by the same family. Three brothers, late 30s/early 40s, all married with children. They seem a nice sort but not overly friendly. Over the last year, they have brought out half a dozen RVs and are fixing up the one home. The second property is just undeveloped acreage but it's where most of the RVs are parked, in a circle.

Their extended family all get together out here on Memorial Day or the 4th and have a big party in the country. But occasionally between those holidays, we'll see a vehicle or two spend a couple of nights.

I wonder what sort of shenanigans are going on out there? Any ideas?

Well from a cult no.

Maybe they are just folks using their little camping setup as a place to go for some inner family swinging or wife swapping. Away from their actual homes and children. Or maybe a couple of moms are using the campers as a place to train their adult sons in the skills they need to please a woman.

This location would the perfect place to do that sort of thing privately. You guys got fixed on one idea too easily.

I get what you're saying. And I do agree. Although I have done some incest stories they aren't my bag either. But I understand the dynamics of this site and have turned them in my favor. By creating an incestual relationship that I could stomach into a series of stories that I do like, I have doubled my followers. And it's not that big a leap for those new followers so see my other works in the Mature category and give them a try. A successful gambit. I did the same thing in the LW category.

I hope that you do not leave the forum because you are a good guy and your posts are worth reading and I've enjoyed our occasional discussion on writing.

In this particular case, the scenario I posted, incest is the lowest-hanging fruit possible. Would I write that? No. I was using it though, to pull people into the discussion. Because it's the most popular category on Lit, sadly.

I was leaning more toward a scenario where a couple buys this remote property and creates a place for their swinging group to have exciting outdoor sex around a roaring campfire, with their high-end RV's just feet away. All in a quiet remote, location. The climate is dry, and there are no mosquitos. Which would make it the perfect location. The MCs would be me and my wife who get a little voyeuristic until we are discovered and then are encouraged to join their little soiree. For a strictly monogamous couple, the stress and temptation of that invitation becomes too much to bear after a while.

"Of course not!"
But of course, both of us are fantasizing wildly about it. Outwardly shaking our heads, while inwardly nodding enthusiastically. How far will we go in our denial before we admit what we want? Meanwhile, the new neighbors know that bringing us into the fold is the surest way to protect their secret and work hard to try to seduce us. Inviting us out to their home in town; a fancy dinner, fine wine, low music.

And then everything changes when he leans over and kisses my wife. I feel his wife's hands caress my neck and then I meet my wife's gaze.

This would be more my style.

I also think their properties sandwiching yours is invitation for some interesting arrangements. Like, them asking permission to hike between them through your land... and eventually observed on that trail naked... or just in some weird combos.

Anyhow, any kind of observation, intentional or less so, may lead to strange inferences (not necessarily truthful) and further interest. Who's the new girl with those men, out there alone? The thought she may be in danger is 99.9% probability false, but almost inevitable. So, wow, they indeed brought her out for an outdoors gangbang... well, she seemingly enjoyed it, so alright. Is it the other time the same girl or just a somewhat lookalike?

In time, the husband notices that it always happens when there is a gathering at their neighbours, and though initially he's happy, later he notices that something bad is happening as well. Maybe his wife wants to do sick kinks, or maybe they feel terrible after sex, or something. Then, he decides to investigate, discovers a cult of some, and ultimately is presented with the choice: would he get back to sexless marriage, or would he risk his/his wife's life/health to maintain those nights of fucking.

So, is the basic idea that the mysterious rituals of the neighbours turn all human females insufferably horny? Within a range, for the duration, or a time after? While revival of sexless marriage may be the most subtle way to lead into it, there's a lot of adventure to be had with such a randomly applied area effect.

Just a thought, but you could always Reverse-Think this, but then... it might get too creepy. I have neighbors exactly like yours, so it must be a rural thing, but my creepy neighbors are nothing but drug dealers trying to hide from the law. But I digress...

You could write a story where they WATCH YOU do some deprave things. Perhaps you and your wife, or if you really want to get wild, your wife with others! Either way, one moment in the midst of passion, you or her look up, and there they are... watching!!

Reverse-Thinking does not always work, in fact many times it is a failure story wise, but for truly creative ideas, flipping everything 180 degrees can really make your mind go in much different, creative directions!!
