This is where my poetic heart belongs. Where the faintest hint of light becomes the brightest star, this is where you can find me.

To be honest, when I started spending a lot of my time at Lit I pushed that poetic side of myself into the corner. But seeing Naughty Mike's thread made me a bit curious. Could my dark poetry be appreciated as sensual?

Here are 2 of my poems that I submitted to test the streams of Literotica. I welcome your honest opinion of the topic and also of my poetry.

as always
my sincerest appreciation

Hunger - Dark Erotica

Savage Kitten-

I loved your poem A Dark Need, I get the feeling a sexy vampire is sneeking up on me. While I don't want to actually be bitten well not hard:) I enjoy the fantasy. I will look for more of your poems

Thank you Savage Kitten for this thread. I too, have written dark poetry. Some find it bleak, others an insight into the pain that can be a moment in our lives. I share mine so that it may be a continuance of your thread. Nothing erotic here folks.

Savage Kitten, I think that this is where part of your heart belongs. The topic of darkness is bleak but your poem "A dark need" shows to me a hunger, enveloping you but your 'vampire' grows, taking your spirit but not your true soul, in death there is rebirth.
