A perfectly healthy looking little GIRL!!!!!!
I better pack my bags for the poor house right now, because I am already shopping for little dresses and hats and shoes!

We are stuck on a name.......
Either Anne Elizabeth or Elizabeth Anne.....I would like the opinion of the board:D

For me, Elizabeth Anne flows off the tongue a bit easier then Anne Elizabeth. I like both, however!

And be prepared for the worse case scenerio, and have a boy name picked too. ;)

Usually, in my experiance (with friends, not my own, my ultrasounds were always right) there is more chance of error in saying it's a girl, and getting a boy. Cause if they don't see something, it might just be hiding. However, if they do see something, it's not likely to go away before being born. ;)

Elizabeth Anne - it flows better. Anne is my daughter's middle name too.

aawwwwwww

Congratulations Peaches!

I'm sure you will know the right name when you see her perfect little face.

Congratulations, Peaches!

Are you going to call her by both names? Like Mary Jane? Or will she be Anne Elizabeth Peaches or Elizabeth Anne Peaches, known only by the first name? In that case, decide wether you like Annie or Liz/Beth as a nickname, since thats what you'll probably call her more often.

If it's going to be a name like Elizabeth Anne or Anne Elizabeth...

I vote for Elizabeth Anne.

I concur with the board.

Nice little bit of information: My middle name is Anne
and my daughter's is Elizabeth.

Congradulations! and enjoy!

"why they call it falling....why they call it falling....why they call it falling...now i know...."

thanks, got that going through my head now.. ;)

Congrats on the girl!

*sigh*...I'll trade ya for a rotten boy?

My step-daughter's name is Elizabeth Ann, she goes by Betsy.

I vote for Elizabeth Ann (yes..it does seem to have a better sound......)

very cool ... i want a baby girl one day :)

lisa's middle name is elisabeth spelled that way its one of my fav names and i often call her elisabeth

elisabeth anne sounds better..... but as i was gonna say and most on the board proved my point alote of girls have the middle name anne. but still it sound good. Beth-Anne

Congratulations! I agree with the majority of the board - Elizabeth Ann just rolls off the tongue very sweetly.

Thanks so much for the congrats, everyone!

I'll probably only use both names when I am reprimanding her......my husband likes Elizabeth Anne, and that was the plan at the beginning......I wanted to name her after a historically strong female, and Elizabeth I is my favorite.........thanks for the help!

Congratulations !

I was told i was having a baby girl too, we told all our family and friends....i washed all my girl clothes and ironed them too...gave away all my boys clothes as this was going to be my last child... I was given everyones presents ....all pink....then i gave birth and my daughter had an extra umbilical cord which turned out to be a ...PENIS...Get a boys name just in case....OH and don't ask the nurses how long it takes for the extra umbilical cord to drop off they just laugh at you...:D

Congratulations! Could be good advice on the wait and see about boy or girl. :)
One friend had an amnio and was told girl. BIG surprise when 'she' was born! Tuned out it was a typo! OOPS And another friend was told congratulations, it definitely looks like a girl. Huh? What the heck happened then? 'Cos they got a boy. Anyway take care of yourself and little one :)

Congratulations! I like Elizabeth Anne, as well. Like the others, I know a lot of people that were told the sex of the baby was one thing & they got the opposite. Whichever the little one turns out to be, babies are a blessing.

SoftPeaches

great news indeed.
