Is that classical................or classic??

Me thinks...............Theme to Love Story??

I guess that answers the question "does classical music work in a forum like this?" it's definitely classical. I really dunno the name of it, either... but if you heard me humming it to you, you'd at least recognize it. ;)

But I'm right here *hugs* *hugs*..........of course I do have to leave again for a bit..............but I'll be back this evening baby!!:heart:

and I'm glad you're here. there's just always that hit of sadness when you leave. can't help it... it just is. then I think about you when you're gone. reckon that means I love you.:kiss::heart::)

I reckon it does. ;)
And I feel the same way too.............I love you.:heart::heart:

random lyric...

runnin' here, I'm runnin' there
I'm looking for my girl
'cause there's nothin' I need
nothin' I want more in the whole wide world
well, I need it quick and I need it now
whoa, I'm 'bout to fade away
that's why I'm searchin' each and every day

oooh, I need some love
I said I need some love
oooh, I need some love
these feelings I can't rise above

well, the song is called (surprise, surprise) "need some love" and it's by rush. it's on their first album, before their songs went all epic and mystical and shit.

I don't think I have ever heard that one. I've heard of RUSH............but I can't remember the names of some of their popular songs

probably the only song you might have heard from that album (if you've heard any of them) is working man. popular songs... hmmm... older rush, fly by night, closer to the heart, free will, spirit of the radio. last rush album I bought was centuries ago... it had tom sawyer and limelight. and yes, I realize these titles might not mean anything to you. just providing info. :D

Actually Tom Sawyer is the only one I recognize .............but the others I may have heard but just not familiar

nothing to be embarrassed about. I know you like van hagar, but I think for the most part I'm a bit more of a hard rocker than you are. I still love you, so it's all good. ;):kiss::heart:

I was actually wondering if you knew and liked any of their songs, but your answers are good enough. I'd have been very surprised if you knew shooting star... but that would have earned you a ridonkulous amount of points. ;)

re: first, worst and best concerts you've attended..

first and worst were van halen on the fair warning tour

best was the first time I saw dada, in indianapolis. I've seen them play better since then, but I'd never seen them before and there was a time that they were broken up and I didn't think I'd ever see them. having the guitar right in my face all night was a huge plus, as was getting to meet them after the show and being recognized from posting on the message board.

Hey sweetums :kiss::heart:

Are we talking best concerts...........then my best would have been seeing Jefferson Airplane in '94 for only $3..............yeah I'm a cheap date!!:D LOL

The worst..............Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine in '88 only b/c of the lousey company I had that night!

It was at the WORLD's BIGGEST BBQ/Chili cookoff that they have in my area.
The coolest thing was standing two rows from the security fence, in front of the stage............I have not been to a concert with those kind of seats since.......

you need to go see dada. one of the advantages of seeing a band that's not well known is you get a great place to watch. of the 10 shows I've been to, I was right up by the stage at probably 6 of them. had to stand, but it was well worth it. :D

Thanks for the tip. Maybe a really sweet, wonderful, nice person could take me to see them ;)
