my thread

cool.. I was doing water aerobics for awhile, but I'm not doing much of anything right now. I need to see my doc and see exactly what my activity level should be.

i went to a Dr first, he was thrilled that i was simply trying to lose weight. i was shocked, he said, even if all i do is keep from gaining anymore, i have accomplished something. He was so supportive.

i am 40 years old now and am just looking to improve the quality of my life.

well.. I understand that, and that's why I was trying to walk and ride my exercise bike... and the water aerobics when I was doing them. I have some issues now, tho... got put on disability from work and while I'm pretty sure the doc doesn't want me to sit around and do nothing I'm not sure what I can do.

Yep, you need to go talk to him then. i am sure he'll be very supportive. :)

hey musky...
I have had some big ups and downs, including a drug semi-overdose and being placed on permanent disability from work. on the plus side, I took a trip to california, had a story posted on Lit and met someone here that I'm crazy about.

how you been?

I've been...

and thats about all

Hey,

Things aren't really bad, but they always get better, hopefully things are looking up now, we can always hope.

I'm glad things aren't bad. your other post made me wonder.
hope is a good thing. :):rose:

random thought...

it always feels good, but it's so much better when we can inspire each other.
;):devil::heart:

Random thought......

Why does the replacement of my new windshield make me feel like I am driving a new vehicle?? Could have swore the car had that 'new car' smell too!

there's probably a logical reason. chances are you can see better. even if you clean your windshield on a regular basis it probably gets built up with smog, etc and tiny scratches that you can't see but over probably decrease your visibility, however imperceptible it might be. like maybe you're looking through.... gauze, for lack of a better word.

the "new car" smell probably comes from a can at the repair shop.

All I can say is......she may be expensive but Cindy Rowe does a damn good job!

I watched this movie on LMN (lifetime movie network) called "I've Been Waiting For You". It is about a girl who moves to a Mass. town where they had burned a witch 600 years earlier. She is some how 'possessed', but not really by the witch. Anyways, my kids were running around the house with their action figures whispering "I've been waiting for you" in creepy little voices.................think I need an exorcist
