my thread

Hmmm a kitty abuser eh? I'd take issue with that - but in the spirit of the season I'll just let it pass and assume that you have been hanging out in the wrong part of town and have, perhaps, encountered a tough alley cat defending his territory. ;)

*chuckle*
Well - it comes from knowing my friends Siamese - who is known by the nick-name "Satan Claws" by all that have made his aquaintance... including the vet. He'd sour anyone on feline affection.

Well, I'll have to give you the Siamese issues. They are, for the most part, a pretty nice breed - except, of course, for Bucky (from Get Fuzzy) and Si and Am from Lady and The Tramp. Most Siamese like people (and no, not just the taste) but, like all cats, can be moody and tough to deal with.
I have never owned a Siamese but I know from my time spent with my other kitties - if they want something NOW - they don't mean "oh when you get around to it". I had to dig one of my kittens out of the kitchen trash this morning - he just knew that under the potato peelings and coffee grounds - he'd find something interesting. And once they set their mind on something they are almost as difficult as Moonbeam to retrain or distract. :D

Now, kicking a puppy is crossing the line. Puppies are cute and cuddly. Go for a cat.... an adult, mean, spitting cat. There has to be much more pleasure in that. ;) (not a cat person)
sure, I'm bad-ass. I can kick a cat, too.

I read "get fuzzy". most of the time I think it's funny but I don't care much for the art.

other "off the beaten path" comics I love:
agnes
speed bump
the flying mccoys
frazz
red and rover

there's bound to be others, but their names escape me right now.

posting more on the GB today. what's up with that? must be because hardly anyone is paying me any mind here. they don't there, either, but I'm used to it.

Well sweetie - you just concentrate on remembering your own name and we'll work on the comics later.:p;)

Ummm - would you like to go put your Gary Sinise/Tom Hanks answer on the end of Northern's 6-degree thread. He was asking for you.
Then he can start another one and we can see if we can get the next one done any better than we did this one. okeedokee??

I love Agnes! I used to read Get Fuzzy but haven't for awhile.

I read a lot of independent web comics though:

Something Positive
Order of the Stick (makes no sense unless your a gamer)
Ctrl-Alt-Dlt
Wapsi Square
Irregular Webcomic

A few others that escape me atm...

Been super busy. I hope this week is over with soon, but then again, next week will be just as busy. *sigh*

'tell me sometin' good - uh!

sorry I never saw this last night. I've never heard of any of the web comics you mentioned, but my surfing is very limited: Lit, imdb, the dada message board, and google/wikipedia when I'm trying to find the answer to one of northern's questions.

agnes was one of those comics that snuck up on me. I hated it at first but it grew on me. I may have to see if I can find the series of strips where she was getting ready for the spelling bee. the one where she was actually in the bee may be the single funniest comic I've ever read.

I also love zits, baby blues, the middletons, jump start and.... hell, I can't think of the name of it but I call it the one about the white trash family. there's a guy named burl and and a woman named verl.... it's not really laugh out loud funny, but more.... maybe ironic is the word because I'm sure there are really people that do the same stupid shit they do.

welcome back and I hope the wedding was fun.

tired and moody, how's by you?
honestly, feeling pretty invisible today.... dunno how else to feel when you make direct comments to people and they don't respond. that, in turn, is making it one of those days when I'm wondering if I should just give this place up. I probably won't.... I'm too much of a whore for what very little bit of attention I get. it's just... well, I guess women aren't the only ones that get tired and moody.

maybe I should either go play with myself or play with my guitar.

for me, i just get so wrapped up in posting that i can't answer everyone....i don't like to ignore people.

i understand how you feel, though....happens to me somedays too. thats why i created my own thread so i can just post crap until someone notices. mostly i just post pictures or count. Lit can be disappointing some days.

holy hell... is it january yet?

No, unfortunately we haven't made it through Christmas or New Year's yet. After those diversions we can then move on to the long, boring month of January. At least we have holiday TV shows as a distraction - there are very few TV specials celebrating January.
