I don't actually WATCH a lot of tv, but there is generally a good 90 minutes that the tv gets me out of dealing with my kids each day.. i'll have to get an antenna or something to get the 3 basic channels we should get without cable, or cave and just get cable

sounds like my bro's tv.... he only got 2 channels so he ordered this thing that plugs into an electrical outlet and is supposed to turn your whole house into an "antenna". unfortunately it didn't work worth a damn.... fortunately they sent his money back.

you could always just let the kids watch videos.... are there any they'd watch over and over?

I must admit, that's one attraction I just don't get. to me, he looks scummy in a lot of his movies. is scummy a word? and in the ads I saw for charlie he just looked like a freak.

we must be kindred spirits, then. what I wouldn't give to be able to give that particular pleasure to some of the young ladies I work with..... it's starting to border on obsession.

I share that lack of possibilty in my workplace, when I'm actually working that is, there are one or two in particular but they are both "bosses" and one is going to be newly married (or is newly married, i've been off on maternity leave too long to keep up to date) and the other one has a REALLY hot girlfriend whom I like very much ( she's a hottie) and tips well when she comes in for gas so I couldn't do it unless I had her permission.

I've noticed that your profile says you're a "gas jockey". does that mean you actually have to pump the gas, or do you just work the register? I used to work in a gas station where all the pumps were full service..... after 10 days of running around on the concrete for 9 or 10 hours a day my feet felt like bloody stumps.

that sucks. were you able to get it off or are you going to just have to live with it..... or get the car painted? I don't know what gets in to people, whether it occurs to them at all how much money someone might have to spend to fix the damage they did. maybe that's part of the thrill of it for them....

we were kind of lucky, because it didn't cost us anything to find out what the problem was.... it could have cost big-time, because after changing fuses with no luck my bro tried to get in touch with an electrician that advertised in the phone book as having "24 hour emergency service". thank goodness no one answered the phone there. who would have thought that bad customer service could be a good thing?

Yes I actually pump the gas, check the oil, fill the oil, fill the tires, get bitched at about the gas prices, pump the diesel, wash the windshields, kiss the babies and give the dogs treats...

okay well maybe not kiss the babies but everything else was in my job description... and that didn't include the duties I had inside at the car dealership (sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, hauling car parts around)

working the register at a gas station isn't a real job it's one I'd love to have but gawd it'd be boring
