I'm in love with her but it's like she's on the fence when it comes to letting me be part of her life completely. The worst part is I'm not really part of her life not completely I've never met her friends and family but I've introduced her to mine. She doesn't like people to know she's into BDSM and she's even said her friends and family wouldn't understand she says they'd think I was abusing her.

It all started a month or to after we had sex she started acting strange saying she had something to tell me and that I need to know but she just keeps getting nervous and backing away from telling me what is wrong. Whatever it is she's clearly nervous.

I asked if she's told anyone and if that was the reason but she said no. What do you think could be going on? Why would she be afraid to tell me something that has her this out of whack?

Started a month or two after you had sex... how long ago was that? Could she be pregnant?

Have you tried telling her that you will do the best you can to support her with her issues, instead of just pushing to meet her friends and family and be part of her life? It sounds to me as though she wants to keep you compartmentalized for now. Pushing her for what you want while she already has a problem of her own probably isn't endearing you in her eyes.

Try just offering your support, no matter what the issue, if you feel like you can truthfully offer it up. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

To be honest, I think this relationship is over, pregnant or not. It might not hurt to get yourself tested for STD's though. Clearly she doesn't see wedding bells in your future or swingsets with kids in your backyard. So, now you have a choice, letting go or being a stalker. Time to move on.

This sounds like great communication, because talking to each others like adults is so overrated.

Talking through the issue like adults is the best way to go I'd say, but if I was in your position I'd be bracing myself to end the relationship if for whatever reason she wasn't willing to. It might sound a bit extreme, but if you don't have communication, then you don't have a relationship and in that case it's better to end it cleanly rather than hanging on and it dying the death of a thousand cuts.

Okay so I was able to talk to her at our favorite restaurant and she's told me that she is pregnant. Not going to lie I'm both very happy and a little scarred but at least now I know what going on and we can work on this together.
