My story was posted but not on new list

Hi there, dont know if anyone can answer this but my story Adventures of the Photographer was posted on 4/18 but not in new stories only on erotic couplings section, why would that have happened?
Any comments on my work would also be appreciated.

Your story is there, look again. It's slipped down to page three though, because of the newer submissions.

If you check the new lists frequently when your stories are pending, your browser cache will frequently show what's in memory instead of what's on the server after an update.

A story of mine was "accepted" 4/19, but wasn't posted anywhere (new list or in its category) until a bit later. I'm fairly certain this is because **Management** needed to change the description line. I'm ever so thankful they did, mine was corny beyond belief. BUT anyway, the point is if anything needed adjustment, it may have taken longer to appear.

Laurel approves the stories one at a time. When the story is approved, it shows up on your author list, but no place else. When she's done for the night, she does her magic computer thing and updates the site itself. That's when the story appears on the new list and in the category.
