My story is in the wrong category ?

I wrote a story a while back and got a pretty good response. (the red H) which was satisfying.

But I think the readership was low because it was put in a different category to what I wrote it for.

My intent was reluctance and non-consent for a theme, with a side order of voyeurism and exhibitionism - with a vehicle of a slightly advanced computer technology.

Is there a way to change the category?

Chapter 2 is in the works, but I want them to be more in the mainstream.

You can PM to the management (Laurel) and ask for a category change, but Lit rules are fairly clear that Literotica has the final say-so as to category placement of all stories.

Yeah, that sucks when they do that.
My last story was part of a continuing story in Erotic Couplings. I worked hard writing a good story and they stuck in in Group Sex, just because the loving couple I wrote about had a younger girl join them once. (She owed them and it was a birthday present) Kinda killed the reads and responses that I HAD been getting on that story, and killed my enthusiasm for writing.

But it's their site and they can and will do whatever they want with a story.
If the primary thing is incest, then it's ok to have loving wives, midgets with dildos, group sex, bdsm, first time, lesbian, etc. As long as they are related, it will go into Incest category.

It doesn't matter if you get it changed or not because 99% of the reads come from the "new story" listed stories. So, anything you do after the first 6 days won't change anything.
