My Shitty week

Hi there all. long time no see. If anyone wonders where my pretty face has been it has been wihtt the rest of me in the hospital. For the past 4 days. arrrgggg here is what happened..

Sunday night i was driving home from a hellacious shift at work. It is sad when you have to call the police 5 times b/c of various abusive parents who's kids "fell off the porch,hit accedently with a bat.etc" God i really hate those people. So i was driving home listening to my Scorpian king soundtrack(brand new fresh from my buddy) when out of nowhere i guess i was hit head on by a drunk driver.can't remember but i am told that he basicly was doing over 80 on a 65 highway in the wrong lane. the cop said the drunk was" wanting to be brittish" is the reason the guy gave for smashing my poor little car. so i guess my car got smashed back but i got knocked out. (still thanking the seatbelt and airbag gods.) the ambulance took me to the hospital (where i had just left from 10min earlier). I was unconsious for about 5 hours then in and out for the next 36. my parents flew down and were by my side. my best friend flew in from iowa to stay with me. turns out i had a broken wrist, serious concussion, torn ligaments in my knee,and a broken foot. not as bad as it could be (Drink your milk kids). after i could stay awake and eat on my own i basicly got to hang around work without working. quite fun. Though i had one nurse who is the incarnate of satan, even though i could wheel my happy ass around she made me stay in bed. Grrr i was in bed all day lady. my friends are at work all i wanna do is wheel down get soem decent food and eat with my friends!!!though being cooped in my bed gave me all these thoughts of ways to kill the guy who hit me. The best one i came uop with is money!!!!hahahaha it was his drunken fault. My mom has said dhe is getting her lawyer friend to get the bastard to pay all my medical bills. I called the insurance guy this morning and i am basicly getting my car paied off from the insurance and enough to get one of those really nice new hybird cars(enviroment junkie) i got realesed today and i am sitting at home awake from my drug induced nap getting ready to go to ride in a car with my friend (ahhhh) for 3 hours to get babied and fead lots of yummy cheeseburgers by my mommy! I love you all and will check in later...

You survived the force of a 145 mile an hour crash? (assuming you were doing the speed limit). Damn! You got lucky. Your injuries seem impossible for the force of that wreck. I guess the milk really does do a body good.

What kind of car did you have that was worth enough to be not only paid off, but also inables you to purchase a brand new one? And what insurance did you have that you found all this out in just the matter of a few days? Took me weeks to find out about my insurance when I was hit by a drunk driver. I think I need new insurance

Also, you don't have to go after the guy for money. The state will do that. If he was driving under the influence and he almost killed you then he is responsible for all costs. Regardless if he has insurance or not.
