I remember there were lots of poplars in Anne of Green Gables.

You're so funny.

Poplar's are one of my favorite trees. They grow quickly and fill in the forest after a fire, as do birches.

Its also fun to say.:D

You know for every yin there is a yang, don't make me get all dry and political. I'll have to bust out my NE accent.

Your Aunt Minerva makes the best cherry cordial in three counties. Can I have another sip?

hey rosie, I'm so drunky and poplar.

NOOOOO!!!!!

I hated those trees. My parents yard had tons of them in it. Those leaves were awful in the fall.

On a side note. I do like the way you eat candy canes.:p :p ;)

is that a poplar in your pants? or are you just happy to see me?

I think the tip of your tree is sticking out of your shorts.

you might need a christmas angel on top there.

Nice pic, but I have to be the party pooper.

Poplars are horticultural nightmares.
They have excessive die back, and are very weak trees.

You should try a more popular tree like :D ...

I have a feeling this thread is going to become the most popular thread ever.

<smile> not my favorite tree, either, but one hell of a parody thread.

Like I said, this will be the most popular and loved thread of all time, except for that one from Spinaroonie maybe.

poplar's a nice inexpensive wood for all sorts of running trim, take paint well, stain too. might look good in an excellently tiled bath house.
