Yes, it is. The Japanese are very into cutesy-type girls (big eyes, round faces, almost childlike). There's a whole subgenre called Lolicon, but it's best not to get into it.

Actually I've recently been trying to avoid the 'lolicon' thing (mentioned before)i by drawing curvier hips and bigger breasts, so it's interesting that you would ask that. I guess I still have a lot to work on to really convey the sense of adulthood!
