I have some new roomies. They are very noisy. And they live in my kitchen stove-vent-thingee.

They sure bring joy and pleasure to my ears and heart.

LOL--nah--doesn't affect anything. It is one of those wall vents with the little pull chain that never works. I have not seen one in a house in years and don't remember seeing one that worked.
These little ones are fine and they seem to like me--usually when we open it up they babies get as far back as possible. These here reach out and I am a bit paranoid since they seem intent on jumping out. Of course, I am very sure my cat would find great pleasure in such an event!

Does anybody know what to feed them if my cat snacks on mom?
I suppose I could use an eyedropper--but what would be nutritious for them? (I am NOT going to chew bugs for them!!!!!)

Hate to tell you but if Mom becomes lunch for the cat, the babies probably won't make it, no matter what you do. Yes an eyedropper and you can get baby bird stuff at a local pet store if you want. Good Luck. I advise keeping kitty away though. Takes soooo much time to hand feed them, over and over and over....

I had thought about the time commitment. But my cat has snacked on a mom before.
Of course, she does not always kill. Sometimes she brings her prey in and lets it go in the house. Drives me nuts.
The birds have ensured that i have no pretty-pretties up on display and the kangaroo rats are hard as hell to catch--fast little suckers.

But, of course, if my cat does kill mom, I will try my best. (They we wo noisy last night that I was thinking that may be teh case--uaually they are not squaking non-stop at 2 am.)

Hey! Even IF that is a perfect description of me, it could still be considered an example of fightin' words down here in South Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!
