My new haircut

So, yeah, with everything going on I decided I needed a change ... so for the first time in 7 years, I cut my hair significantly. It was down to my waist ... and now ... well, see for yourself.

Oh, and be nice to me ... I know that the picture isn't that good, but it was the best one of the group Holly took while being mean to me

very cute.

my hair was down to my butt just about 3 months ago, and I cut it to my shoulders. I miss it.

Thanks. I kinda miss mine, but ... everyone says that it's cute (even the girls at the school who were like "OMG why!!!!"). I even got hit on at the gas station the other day LOL

I was pumping gas last week, and this guy in a truck drives past me real slow like and whistels at me, then calls out "Ooouch!"

Made my week (and I was having a really crappy one)

Yeah, it made me feel pretty good ... good enough to let Holly take pictures of me and actually post them (I HATE having my picture taken).

I decided last month that my hair which had gotten to the middle of my back wasn't going to get any longer -- it's never been longer than that, and had stayed exactly that way since three months earlier despite trims and attempts to get it to grow -- so I cut it all off. The back is pixie-short, and the front is longer so I can still pull it away from my face a little.

Much better for hot weather too.

My hair grows super fast when I cut it. So I'm hoping it'll be back to waist length by winter.... Just intime for a special trip.

Heh, I think I'm gonna keep mine short for awhile. I seriously needed this change, and I don't think I'll be ready to go back for quite awhile.

And I already like the low-maint part ... it's nice to be able to run my fingers through it and call it "combed" - without ripping my hair out, even.

It's very cute! I once had really long hair and got so tired of the hassle of it. Now I just got to stay on top of the dying it.

I thought about coloring my hair ... but then I realized that I have well water and it's not the best quality and I didn't want to risk my hair turning out some funky color instead of what I wanted LOL

I'm really liking the haircut... but I wasn't so sure right at first.

Like I said, it was down to my waist, and I could feel the woman putting the hairband just below where I wanted it cut to, and braiding it, and putting the band on the bottom ... and I was sitting there the whole time thinking "I can still tell her to stop" over and over again. Then, without warning, I heard *snip* and it was too late LOL

I feel a lot lighter without all the hair - and lower maintanence is VERY nice. I am also liking the fact that the cats can't pin me to my pillow by laying on my hair LOL

Don't color your hair! I'd kill to have hair your color - it's gorgeous.

I used to have white hair ... as in, albino white ... it was hidious. I used to color my hair (cuz yeah ... albino white hair on me had to go).

My hair has gradually darkened over the last 6 years or so (last time I colored my hair was when I was still at Eureka, and I graduated in 2000), which I am VERY grateful for. If I'm like my mom, my hair will eventually turn into a nice dark brown.

I got a buzz cut the other day. It sure is cooler and easy to wash.
