Just a moment ago, I heard a cat scream next door, and my neighbours shouting at each other. The woman shouted at the man to leave the cat alone.

I don't know what happened after that, it's all quiet now.

That poor, poor cat. My heart is bleeding. How CAN anyone be evil to an innocent little animal?
My cat Mia always brings out my protective instincts. Whenever she looks at me, I get an urge to do something nice to her, to make her purr.

How is it POSSIBLE for some people not to react the same way when they see a little animal???

Hmmmmmmm

Whenever I see a pussy I have an urge to do something nice to it as well love.:D

Your neighbour sounds a right macho man, hits women and beats cats, Hmm. Maybe a visit from the boys would do him good.

I have two cats, I used to have three. I love them very much, but I would never describe them as innocent, nor kind to the surrounding wildlife, although one of them seems happy enough molesting twigs and leaves. My personal belief is she is just as psychopathic as the other (her sister), just a little more stupid.

The concept of innocence implies another concept of guilt. I just don't believe cats deal with reality or us on those sorts of terms.

No, I wouldn't hurt one of the little buggers just for the sake of hurting it, but I might to stop it hurting another innocent animal.

Maybe you could get your neighbor to visit England. I understand that several illegally held 'game' cats were just let go into the forests. If the fates work with us maybe the fool could get a chance to 'pick' on a cat that could defend itself.

Ok, I have a morbid streak. It only comes out when I hear about the genetic sludge in our world venting their inability to express themselves by beating on someone who is not as strong as they are. Ask any animal that lives in a loving home and they'll tell you they are someone too.

But seriously, be careful of this guy. First he beats women and small animals. What's next? Do they have kids?

I'm not sure. I haven't been able to tell which one of my neighbours it is who's doing this. I have about 3-4 to choose from, on this floor.

I want to find a new apartment.

It's all on the Wheel.

People who mistreat cats and other defenceless animals in this life, come back in their next life as stink bugs.

I can't imagine anyone abusing my cat. He is a 24 pound Maine Coon Cat, and he considers himself the boss of all quadripeds in the neighborhood. Dogs cross to the other side of the street when they see the Senor. He's sent Walter Beagle to the vet twice.

Ps. Reeeeowwwwwreeeeerrrrrrrrrr

I thought there was a reason I didn't like stink bugs. Makes me wonder about just how smart our cat was. He always killed stink bugs. Quasi you might be onto something there.

Svenskaflicka, älskar, I can't blame you for wanting to move.

In Florida there was a couple that had a raccoon that was making too much noise (they sound a lot like a child crying). Their neighbors called child services and reported hearing what they thought was a child being abused. Authorities came out and took the raccoon into protective custody (I want to know who the foster parents were).

Maybe you could use a tactic like that.
