another one were the title occured to me and I wonder what the story is.

Is the POV that of son or daughter?
Is the stalker M or F or trans (or non-binary??)?
Are stalker of same gender as narrator?
If the narrator is M does it inevitanle lead to sex with Mom? Or a threesome?
If narrator is F, how does that effect who fucks who?
Do Mom and narrator tie up the stalker?
So the cops bring handcuffs?
Who does the stalker turn out to be- ex-spouse? neighbour? coworker? pool boy? former student? narrator's mf or gf or spouse? a grandchild?
Does the stalker fall off the ladder and need to be nrsed by Mom in a Stephen King manner?
is there a tentacle monster involved?

There's a wealth of possibilities and potential indeed.

I think, the one thing defined by the title is that the expected primary point of view is of a child of said mother. Of course, getting to any other desired point of view is no more than one writing trick away, if that.

Let's say...

A son may find a diary that's may or not be his dad's, describing how a young man perhaps son's own age stalks a woman who's undoubtedly the mother, just younger, but absolutely recognizable. While reading it in small installments son decides to reenact some of it -- with (since we're where we are) expected consequences and success. The twist, the "diary" was a work of fiction written by...

a) the mother, as a retelling of a silly porn board story inserting herself.

b) the actual stalker, watching and documenting it all, delighted such a complex plan come to fruition so nicely.

A son may notice someone stalking the mother, but not being sure he decides to not alert her but investigate. He catch the stalker in act, only to be surprised it's actually a girl he knows and/or likes. He ends up joining her in stalking the mom. The suggestion to her to pretend to be his girlfriend so she could move in and have opportunities to have unsuspected access to her object of admiration seems clever if not outright logical. Sure thing -- and what he have hoped for if not insisted -- pretending to be live-in girlfriend in a way that convinces the guy's mom is serious business, the ostensibly pretty much required sex with him not at all pretended. Of course, by now he too enjoys the game of mom watching, and now it is his girlfriend who helps him at that, provoking mom to loose behavior eventually resulting in near home nudism, and/or them having lesbian sex eventually. We may even proceed to a full threesome.

The twist?

a) mom and the girl was colluding from the start, don't ask me why.

b) the orginal stalker wasn't the girl, sensing danger of discovery he forced the girl, his niece, to help him using blackmail he recorded paying her to pretend to be his own escort (or otherwise) and is of course still watching and documenting it all, perhaps even still helped by the girl too.

A daughter may notice someone stalking... what an insult, not her but her mother! Worse, it's a guy she had a crush on. But maybe exactly because of that she overcome the initial sense of violation, betrayal, insult, and repulsion, to somehow rationalizing his actions and construct a delusion he might actually be into her after all if only she would offer herself to be just as easy target of observation... in short, she decide to complete with unsuspecting mother for the stalker's attention.

And she discover she totally enjoys it, and even enjoys when she expose mom to him. Then she notices him around when she is with her bff and in whim decides to present him something fresh, and discover exposing her friend to him is a huge rush too.

But that's also when the stalker get suspicious he's discovered, that the daughter is performing for his benefit. He doesn't back down, he gets even bolder.

That threatens the daughter's by now pretty enjoyed status quo, and she feels forced to catch him, just to warn him to be more careful and cautious or she will have to end the whole thing.

Where it goes from here?

a) they decide to play a couple, but it's Lolita in reverse, he's still all into her mother even while with her; that may be resolved in several ways, including but not limited to a threesome, and/or transferring him over eventually

b) daughter allow him to try to approach her mother, while holding a hope out to eventually possess him herself, and after the obligatory threesome eventually succeeds

c) daughter insists on keeping the relationship as pure exhibitionist/voyeur, but soon discover the mother actually knows about his presence already, and likewise had decided to play with it. So they stage increasingly depraved shows to him, including other girls and women and lesbian group sex. After a while some of their friends may notice him themselves or get initiated into the secret, perhaps to get their help in seducing yet others into the debauchery. Eventually the guy doesn't have to hide anymore, the girls treat him as invisible even if he masturbate sitting right between them. He appears to be content with just that and seemingly not desire direct interaction, but one of the girls get weirded out enough to approach him, perhaps asking him to spread suntan lotion on her nude body or something, and subsequently they becomes a couple. While that doesn't change the situation immediately, it takes some necessarily strain off and the situation winds down back to relative normalcy.
