my master's mark

Weird.. it has had more effect on me than I anticipated.
He is rapt. I was the first sub he considered worth of his collar.
Now I am his....forever....
He chose a key.
I wanted some symbolism.
So worked gems, the colours of the chakras up the spine.
Ororboros, the snake eating its tail to symbolise a begining without an end, a continuous cycle.
Primal energy into eternity.
His initials blended into the blackwork of the key.
The photo quality is poor as the tat is still fresh and glossy, sorry.

t/y, he offered it to me back in November last year, and its taken a lot of consideration and I did about 20 design drafts before I came up with this one.
And I do like skin art....my only regret is that I didnt actually go bigger and more detail now.But he actually wanted smaller.
It was a surprisingly easy sit too and being on my leg I could watch.

It must be nice to have all your efforts in designing it pay off and finally have a beautiful mark and from what I've read about your relationship with your master, a symbol of a beautiful submission

Theres a certain comewhatmay attiude I admire about someone so brash to wander in to a tatooists and just chose a nice (or hideous) one off the wall but I'd be much more from your school of thought- plan to the point of obsession and get something really meaningful and special in the end.

I have only chosen one tat out of a flash book, but it had to be a big cover up so had to be really good, and beyond my meagre artistic capabilities.
My others I have designed myself, or some other picture I wanted.
Like the bitch on my thigh, and my back sports a big celtic design that was the cover of a fantasy novel. Even my first tat that I covered was an illustration in a book.
Obssession pretty well describes it.
This was a big step, and I wanted it to have meaning, and its uniquely mine, now his.

Thank you. I guess the fact that my master is leaving the state, prompted me to put something symbolising eternity.
We will remain in contact, just our actual opportunities to physically interract will be far less frequent,
He will know I remain his, and cannot seek another now.
As I had decided to take his mark in april, but was still working on a design, when his promotion came through, he offered me release.
So I had to rethink my design, and came up with this.
