My lil slaviepoo.

Glad to hear it, Betticus. I heard she was going under the knife, and was pulling for her. Send some get-well mojo, as it were. Glad that she'll be alirght.

I was really out of sorts there for a while. Pacing around the house, checking email like crazy. :( I was scared shitless. I didn't hear any news till late that night and the surgery started early in the morning.

It's sad how you don't really know how much you care for someone until you think you are losing her. Then being far away where you can't hold her hand and tell her it's going to be ok.

She's still in ICU, they managed to repair her heart valve but it was very close to having to have it replaced. I'm still pretty freaked out. I was trying to stay calm so my baby could lean on me. Now that it's over all of the worry and fear seem to be catching up.

If anyone wants to leave a nice message here for Dani to see when she gets home and can get on go ahead.

*hint* she likes teddy bears */hint*

I know! I was so relieved when I got home and saw the email from her friend. I have to admit I was a tad bit worried by the last email last night, but I did a :nana: later. :D

Me too. Well, except replace a tad worried with freaking out.

HOLY COW!!! I need to start pulling my head out of my bum and remember there are people out there who are in need of support and prayers. I had no idea there was anything going on with her. Bet, my prayers and wishes go out to you for your strength and stamina of support. I can only hope and pray that if something were to happen to me, Jim would be just as concerned and worried.

Ms. Dani, may you feel these well wishes and positive vibes where ever you are. Please get well soon and come back to us here so we can love you properly.

I don't know how to insert pictures, so I attached a bear for her. I hope she's recovered soon. :)

She's doing good. They removed the drainage tube from her chest so she was allowed to take a shower. The biggest issue is she's having to do breathing exercises, which hurt her. But if she doesn't do them, she'll get pneumonia, so . . .

Heart surgery is a bitch to recover from and I am sending positive vibes along with everyone else's.

Make sure she gets enough pain relief or she won't be able to exercise at all effectively. She might be spaced out for a few days but she won't get pneumonia.

Here's a bear.
