Wow.

(Yes, it's days old. But just let that sink in for a second.)

Absolutely. He was talking to big money campaign donors about a specific voting block that he cannot possibly hope to appeal to. People who don't pay income taxes, by definition, do not have a vested interest in whether those taxes would be raised or lowered. Strictly from a strategic campaign perspective, a candidate should not worry about being all things to all people.

It had nothing whatsoever to do with governing on behalf of those people, particularly on those other issues that they care about.

That's some mighty fine context there.

Expect Garby to pretend like you don't exist.

If Obama had said something similar, someone like you would've jumped down his throat AND claimed it had everything to do with "governing on behalf of [the] people."

The thing that struck me about the quote, was that it sounded like that was his instruction, not to worry about the 47%. So who is pulling his strings? Is he just a shill for a group of .001%'ers who instruct him on how to act?

You know like Obama? :)

You start off 90% of your posts with either "um, ur, uh" or the name of the person you just quoted. You beg people to talk to you like a child so you can understand them. Shaddup. Forever.

Sorry, but I was taught to address the person by name.

I will continue.... if it upsets you. Please put me on iggy.

Please don't come back with a childish answer, it can only hurt you more than me.

Of course!

That....That.... THAT'S DIFFERENT!

It's the same principle with these right-fringe bitches whining about Obama getting all this credit for Bin Laden.

If the mission had failed, they would've given him all the blame. 100% truth, undeniable.

Therefore, since it didn't fail, he gets the credit. Simple math.

You have no idea how unintentionally funny this post is. Kudos, you fucktard! .

Uhhh, Rory, don't make yourself dumb.

But the troll is so good at it. He even exposed another one of his alts for us today. Ooopss

It's not that difficult to figure out who the racist idiots are, slur or no slur.
And you call yourself "Scared Racist" under your name moron. So you are admitting that you are a scared racist. Why are you so scared? Because you are a racist?

I agree with this assessment; this is exactly what Romney meant. The problem I had with it was he could have worded his comment a little better, or it might be taken the wrong way... which it has. He should choose his words more carefully, or he will come off as an out-of-touch, elitist businessman who cares nothing for the common folks... which, in my opinion, he already has.

However...

Rory is also correct. If President Obama has said something along those lines, the right wingers would have been all over him like a pack of wolves... although that really wouldn't be anything new around here.

I guess it should be mentioned......
Mother jones, whom received the digital file from un-employed Jimm'a Carter 4th. Admits nearly 2mins of the video has been edited.....SO, What we really have is selective editing for political purposes.

A poll taken by CNBC (no friend to Romney) 75% of those polled agree with Romney's statement....

For those of you standing slack-jaw slackin and bug-eyes buggin.... maybe, instead of think what you thought you heard and actually listen to what he said.... "there is a percentage of Americans that don't get it, when I say cut taxes....47% of Americans don't pay Income taxes......They vote for Government Cheese." (paraphrased)

Those are Barry's 'Redistribution Class" Ain't no way Romney/Ryan will get a vote from a leach....

Romney will never get a certain percentage of the vote....just like Barry will never get a certain percentage of the vote.....

Now that the Barry "I'm for Redistribution" quote is on record... Romney looks more golden than before.

To many Americans are on the Welfare dole. To many Americans expect to vote for Redistribution......Lady Thatcher said it best.....

"Socialism is wonderful, until you run out of other peoples money"

Faux compassion has led to a $16 trillion debt, record number of people on foodstamps and the lowest economic growth rate since World War II.

Take the thousand points of light and shove 'em up Al Roker's still fat ass.

in campaign mode, hell no. there is no way Mitt could ever move the 45-47% starch democrats to vote any other way.

remember, its the democrats who believe in the fantasy that welfare is a career

Both are correct

Because Romney has a history of the first

and

Obama has a history of the latter
