I apologize for the lateness, Happy Birthday Caitlynne, but the full hopes and feelings are the same. You are truly a wonderful woman with a myriad of great qualities. I still hold our friendship close and am sending all the love and strenght I can through this difficult time. And just think with summer coming Ice Cream will be on sale everywhere. lol

Yesterday, I was told He needed a *pause* in our relationship.
He really does need it. It's nothing to do with me, other things in his life are just consuming all his time and there is nothing left over. It's unfair (he says) to me to be kept in the wings without stating the real situation up front. And he is right. There is structure and stability in knowing what is really going on, knowing the truth and accepting it.
But understanding that it is not about me and not about the relationship, still doesn't make it any easier. Well, it does in a way, it's not about me, so that is good. But ....
The timing sucks.
And it may be self-indulgent, even selfish, but I need some attention. So I've begun my own birthday thread. I've been good, I deserve a few pats on the back and 'hey' have a good day's'.
I'll even entertain you all if you like. I can sing and dance and I am quite articulate on almost any topic. I can give something back for this attention I'm begging for.
I'm not being an attention whore, those of you who know me, know that.... I'm quiet, and unless I have something to say, I'm pretty much a non-drama-queen.
So in an effort to be fair to you who might drop by ... my rendition of

It is in no way self indulgent! You are a very strong self willed woman and to be able to express a need is something I still wish I was better at. I still have to work at it.
I do hope your birthday was and your year are, filled with Laughter and Love.

Thanks sweetie. I'm doing better. The shock of the change is settling in and I'm adjusting to the 'pause'. I don't know how strong I am, I think sometimes I only stumble my way to the next day and it just looks like I'm a survivor. LOL
In any event, I almost got a whole 3 hours of sleep last night, and I expect tonight I'll maybe get 5. It's slow going, but it is an improvement and that's the way I try and look at it.
I've sure missed seeing you.
