Well, here's my party report. I'll try to be circumspect, but if I say anything indiscreet, please let me know and I'll edit it out.
First of all, I have to tell ya, I loved getting all dolled up in my new dress and shoes. I felt very cool and very sexy. It's a good thing I waited till I was there to put the shoes on, because when you come in the place, you have to go down a steep flight of stairs, and I'd have probably broken my neck in those heels! I did manage to make exactly one trip around the room in them, after which I had a great excuse to take them off, because a very nice subbie man asked to give me a foot massage. How could I say no?

I had expected kind of a heavy environment, dark and gothic, but my main impression was that this was a bunch of people who felt very comfortable with themselves, and with each other, and the atmosphere was so much more fun than I had anticipated. The biggest surprise to me was the amount of laughter. I met many very nice people, and even made a couple of contacts I am considering following up on.
And I saw lots of very interesting things, but I'll remain hushed about that.
One thing I will say is: Flogging...hello, why doesn't EVERYBODY DO THIS??
Oh.My.God.I could get used to that! I tried my hand at using one too, but I don't think I did a very good job. I'll bet I could get a volunteer to help me practice though, what do you think?
I had a wonderful time. It would be hard for me to attend regularly due to my work schedule, but I would certainly like to go again.

If you are at a party like this how do you know who is what? You said you got flogged and you flogged somebody.How does somebody know if you are domme or sub or both or whatever?

A lot of clubs will use some kind of identification symbol if there a lot of people who dont already know each other. Like for example, wearing differnt colored ribbons, red for subs, blue for doms, etc.

Most people I could tell just by watching how they interacted with other people. And since I was escorted by friends who knew a lot of the people I was introduced around,so I didn't have a problem. Several people just came up and asked if I was a Domme. I thought, well, this is good , being a switch, I can just make up my mind when I'm asked
