Welcome to the "I've been 1 bombed club." Actually there is a way to avoid being 1 bombed, the only way. Never submit a story on a day that ends in "day." Like MOnday, Tuesday, etc.

I can perhaps understand someone disliking a story, for whatever reason, and hitting it with a 1 bomb. I do not agree with the action, but I can at least maybe see why. However, the troll who 1 bombs every story that a person submits is beyond my understanding.

I also got a complaint on Mad Moll- "How dare you make fun of the people who love the Rennaissance Faire?" I'm not sure how she got that. And of course, since it was anon, I can't ask....

I'll be honest in saying that, when it happens to be, I'm not nearly as upset as the trolls would like me to be. I can't say there's no irritation, but I'm too stubborn to let it bother me that much. Overall, I see it as silly.

I mean, outside of a contest, it doesn't cost me money. The only thing I regret is the possibility of lost readers, but my stories aren't going anywhere. And since the one-bombs are not real votes, but just another way for powerless losers to feel powerful -- which is one of the most pathetic things imaginable -- why should I be effected that much?

My stories remain the same, as do yours. More readers will come -- in every sense of the word.
