My first, and last, poetry challenge...

[Man Ray]

Here is the challenge -

Get your heart ripped out,
have your heart stamped on,
then have this bruised heart left
to die on...
`Dark hills that lie in brooding dreams`

Then watch as the person
who did the ripping out,
who did the stamping
walk away...
`Banshee-wailing, wind-worn, wild`

But you love this person,
so you let them walk away,
even though you are hurting.
Heart full of...
`Memories of distant battles won and lost`

Now write a poem about it!
Jeez, I tell you its hard...

When do we need to post this poem? Must it be ripped out? Can't it just be eased out before it's stomped? Oh, I know you're sad and I'm sorry for that. I hope writing about it helps some.
