I'll be posting here from now on to keep you all updated on my eye, if you like.

Saw the doctor today, she removed the patch and shield. Had some issues opening up my eye...in fact it stays only about halfway open with it rolled a bit upwards towards my eyelid. Can't really see out of it, all blurry due to the gas in my eye, but she is very optimistic that I will be making a full recovery.

Glad to hear it.

Oh good, optimism is good. Heal well, love. I'll keep you in my prayers.

That's great to hear. I've been through eye trauma and can relate. They're delicate orbs.

Rest up and keep us updated.

Pretty much doing that...body's been very weary...seems I max out around 6-8 hours awake, then sleep another 6 hours

I had a drill in my eye once... absolutely hate the memory *shudders*

Here's hoping everything will heal just fine. :rose:

LOL hoping the same thing too. Hell if I could just get rid of the light sensitivity I would be very happy

For me, light sensitivity was one of the symptoms of what was wrong, it wasn't there after the drilling and leaving a scar in my eye bit.

I do remember how painful and annoying it was though, and how terrified I felt.

*hugs*

Nah this is from the surgery...they expected it. Gonna go for the night...and pass out ttyl

Make sure you let yourself rest up as much as your body demands -it knows what it needs :)

Alrighty then...lol well seems exhaustion caught up to me. Woke up at 6 after 7hrs of sleep...was up for all of 2hrs, struggling to stay awake, before I gave in for another 5hrs of sleep. Kinda feeling ok as far as sleep goes now, which is good cause I have Navy paperwork to do. My eye is no longer rolling into the back of my head and isn't as dilated as it was before.
