I've expereienced the drama thing here in Lit Myself, a time or two... Never something I sought out, but it happens. I feel the same way, ccw I just want to come here to relax and have fun. Its also nice to relate to people in a way that I usually can't in every day life. I think Marquis suggestion is a good one, change your nic. Gives you an opportunity to reinvent yourself also. Good luck. Also, sometimes just saying you are sorry, even if you have done nothing wrong, helps.

My first two weeks at Lit, I suffered the wrath of a popular forum member...some sort of baked product, if I remember correctly. The posting flock blindly followed her lead, hounding me with acusations that I should have known about an unwritten forum rule about crossposting, etc.

Those people are mostly gone now, or won't admit to following her, but the threads are still available. At the time, it was suggested to me that I change my nick or leave, but I knew I'd done nothing wrong.

Just a phsyco bitch, she was...not unlike this recent episode. She was allowed to get out of hand on more than one occasion. It was all very stupid and sad. This will all mellow out too, after a while. And, you'll survive.
