My Dad Married My Babysitter

I might seiously write this one but:

is liking the title enough reason to write it?​

I have too many others on the go and​

the biggest writer's block this side of Everest​

I have no solid idea beyond the title, just a few notions for plot bunnies to chew on:​

is it a wedding story?​

(I love wedding stories)​

how old are the characters?​

which gender is narrator?​

transgendered? I'm thinking M to F because of worship of the sitter, wanting to be a girl like her​

does babysitter know narrator had a crush? still has a flame flicking?​

does Dad?​

is Dad good or evil?​

Has Babysitter been in narrator's's life throughout, or did Babysitter go away & returns later? If later, is the wedding news new to narrator?​

how to get Babysitter & narrator hooked up in main sex scene​

is there a Happily Ever after? Or more of a Holden Caulfield sad ending?​

That might get a whole family of plot bunnies through to Easter.​

Is it too much?​

Absolutely. A title like this will draw in readers.

Go with the wedding story.
I’d put the male narrator at 18, the babysitter at 30, Dad at 41 - he was 4 and she was 16 when she was hired, Dad was 27.

Myself, I’d make Dad a widower - a divorce would make babysitter a home wrecker and give narrator a reason to hate her. I’d position it that narrator had an unrequited crush on babysitter, and start the tale with narrator coming home unexpectedly from his community college classes only to find Dad and former babysitter doing the dirty, in celebration of their engagement.

He hadn’t seen babysitter since he got old enough to take care of himself, but seeing her naked brings his old feelings back. He’s now jealous of his father, and decides he wants her for himself.

It’s son vs. father, and away we go!

Love it. I'd flip it while keeping @NewOldGuy77 ages. Incest twist.
Make the the narrator a female narrator.

Huge lesbian crush on the babysitter aka now step-mom. Catches her father and babysitter pounding on the couch.

Realizes she wants to be pounded by dad while eating out babysitter as her greatest dream.

Eventually happens. Dad, daughter, babysitter have sexual escapades and eventually live happily ever after.
