The whole thing together is the name of a character I used to play in a Star Wars roleplaying campaign. I didn't want to copy the name of the car, but I did want a similar sound to the name. So instead of De-Lor-i-un, the spelling I use produces Del-or-i-en. The variation on Mars was a simple suggestion of the GM cause he didn't want me using the name of any Roman deities in a game set in a galaxy where they had never even existed. So the name is Marz Delorean friend, and I had really wanted to save the story behind it and not get into the details of how and where it came from, but you dragged it out of me. And if you have any problems with it, I'd appreciate it if you kept them to yourself. I've had a long day and I don't like sounding like a troll, but I'm in a head-biting mood.
