About 6 yrs ago, I had a major back injury where I tore the muscles off my spine (between my ribcage and my hips).
Took 18months of cortisone injections and physiotherapy to get better.
Normally, it doesn't bother me these days, but today I have woken up with the entire area sore as hell.
I'm walking like a stick-man... all stiff and jerky.
Right now, I'm lying down with a heat pack.
This is the first time it has played up in the last couple of years.
I am not a happy camper today :(

I also currently have severe tennis elbow in the right arm, which makes doing certain things difficult.

There is a point to this thread... I'm wondering what injuries ppl have had that interfere with daily life?

I feel your pain. I have a reconstructed left knee from a work related injury that frequently stiffens up/hurts upon drastic weather changes like temp/pressure drops/jumps. And nerve damage in my left arm/ass/hip/leg/feet from pepper shrapnel being embedded in my spine. Sometimes I feel like I'm being burnt (phantom pains?) and I also feel like I'm walking in about an 1" of water when I walk barefoot on carpet...and I have an occasional twitch in my left arm.

Urk! In my personal misery, I forget that there are people out there with serious issues.

Oh no it's not that bad....more just an irritant. Plus if it dose get bad I'm retired so I just spark up a big ol' bomber and it's all good. :D

I wish!
Unfortunately, today I have to drive to the hospital (eldest son has been in for a week and will be there for a while yet) so I can't take either the painkillers or bourbon (my painkiller of choice!) until I get back.
Hospital is at least an hour drive each way :(

Yea...I have had a couple back injuries but thankfully they are not reoccurring because they fucking suck the big chunky charlie that's for sure.

Well I hope the kiddo is doing/get's better as well as your self. But I busted ass getting my house all clean and it's time to sit back, watch some tube and veg out.

I'm not going to be one of those idiots who tapes themselves setting their ass on fire or squatting on a mug.

*shudders*
