I've never had so many pm's in my life on one subject. So here is a Literotica press release from me to save my pm box getting to cluttered.....

NO, my new av is not actually me.....

My SO found this new av while he was surfing the other night and decided that it looked so much like me, I should use it as my av. My hair is a couple of inches shorter. I showed a female friend of mine this av and the look on her face cause she thought it was me..........

Thanks TH, I read the other thread too. You ought to take a picture of you and put it there. You could take an appropriate picture.

I just bought some roses to take a picture of for my avatar. I am waiting till morning, I'll open both doors and let the morning sun shine in and light the front hallway. The walls are yellow, there's a crystal vase and two dozen white/cream roses on a table below an antique circular mirror. That should work.

I don't have a digi camera only a 35mm. The type of av pic's here I don't think I'm gonna take in to a shop to get developed I look forward to seeing your new one

Enjoy artistic freedom. Take the pic with a 35mm and then take it to a place far away to be developed. Get a scanner, they're really cheap and are a good way to convert 35mm slides to digital. They are also great for scannng kids artwork and sending it to their relatives, you know, grandparents, cousins and things. They are also very useful for school projects.

Excuse me for my "explosion" of enthusiasm. I really enjoy taking pictures as a hobby. I've really found my scanner to be a great tool work and for fun.

I have all the scanner gear etc, I work in the publishing industry. But I use the 35mm to get the best shots I need for my work and outdoor photography I do.

I should go buy a digi, but have not got around to it yet..... the only reason I see to having one for me was if I was gonna put naked pics of me out on the net.... and I'm not going to do that

I have both. I've really enjoyed my Digi and having both types gives me a lot of flexibility. When I travel somewhere and I see something I like, but I don't think that it would be a good "blow up" frameable picture, then I'll take a digi picture. I'll take 20-25 digi pictures for every one with the 35mm camera. The digi pictures go into files on the computer and are neatly organized (my negatives are not). I'm not painting now and I haven't since high school, but I'm keeping a lot of the digi pictures as a "go by". I also use the digi for work, for backgrounds on presentations and artistic highlights (though I'm not a graphic artist).

As an artist, I'll bet you could come up with some really good pics/AV's. There's lots of tasteful AV's out there that aren't nudi, in fact, very few are. I'm not much of an AV artist, I don't even have one now, but I'm goin' try tomorrow.
