i should have been more careful, but they salted every other path, how was i supposed to know they wouldn't do the one that leads to the back of my building.

you need a soak in the hottest tub you can stand for longer than you normally stay in there... the water running past (showering) can't keep as much heat on the spot in question, and the floating in the tub eases some of the natural tension, too.

Ice it first because this will constrict the blood vessels to the immediate area therefore reducing inflamation. Inflamation is the biggest culprit to cause pain. So reducing the inflamation will in return reduce the pain. Then alternate with warm packs. Been there done that.

It's ice that, in a sense, is invisible to the naked eye. It can be really dangerous on roadways. And, in the poor sexy lexie's case, on walkways, too.

Black ice is ice that formed from standing water as opposed to compacted snow or sleet. It's only called black because it's clear and the pavement is visible through it. Compacted snow stays white and is just as slippery as black ice, but is much easier to see and avoid.
