Well, the proper way to put a kilt on is to lay it out on a bed, lay down on it, and roll yourself in to it as you form the pleats

Which means you'd need to help lay me out on the bed & roll me around to fit me

I can see where that could be time consuming

I dunno if we'd get to actually putting on the kilt then!
