Oliver Sacks wrote a book called "Musicophilia" that described some of the ways that music is perpetuated in a brain. Oliver and I have migraines and musicophilia in common. There's the term "earworm" when a song snakes its way into your brain and you can't get it out. You can play the earworm game by infecting as many people as possible to share your pain by singing or playing the songs to others maliciously.
I have a few manifestations of musicophilia that I'm wondering if I share with others.
Number one for me, music is always playing somewhere in my brain. I can often judge my mood based on whether or not it's Mozart or Tool.
Do you have music playing in your brain all the time?
Another bit is the fact that although I don't do word anagrams, I do my version of song anagrams. There are songs that remind me of the themes or melodies or styles of other songs. In a weird example, there's a sound effect in Dragon Age 2 that indicates that some waypoint in a quest has been reached. And it sounds like the opening tones of an aria in Pirates of Penzance...so every time I hear that tone, part of my brain sings "Hold, monsters! Ere your pirate caravanseri proceed against our will: To wed us all... Just bear in mind that we are wards in Chancery, and father is a Major General!" Every. Time. Can't help it. I don't think it's adaptive in a survival way, so I'm determined to make it adaptive in a fun way.

Hopefully songs that aren't by the same artist. That's cheating.
