Music sharing thread...

Good, good, someone else is posting music. I get the best new tunes (well, new to me) from this thread. :)

Here's another from me. This one is sometimes hard to find on the sharing systems. Original version of "Ball and Chain" by Eurythmics:

Four of the ones I posted last night are love songs, although one's object of love is a drug. ;)

They only work for a couple of weeks and then you can't download them anymore. Work backwards from the end of the thread.

Right click on the link for whatever song you want to download and choose Open.
Once the sharing site opens go to the link at the bottom of that first page and right click, then choose Save Target As.

That should work for you.

Unless of course you tell someone that will work in which case it won't.
Died in Your Arms - I right clicked straight to Save Target As without opening a website at all and that worked. Strawberry Wine took me to a website I'm not used to. Maybe Scribbleros can give some insight on how that site works.

You need to click on it and wait for a few seconds after clicking on the free option.

You have to navigate it: keep clicking the link that says free. And then you have to wait for 15-20 seconds. (watch carefully for blinking text that counts down the time or you might miss it). And, if you've downloaded other files from there recently, you have to wait 24 hours or pay them money not to have to wait. And, at least for me, the links stop working after about a week or so. Rapidshare is not my favorite.

I have Al Green for you.
I have the two album CD: "Let's Stay Together"/"I'm Still In Love With You" Unfortunately, the disc(?)/internet doesn't seem to identify the song with anything other than 'track one'
Let me know if there's anything more I can provide for you from this disc. enjoy.

Well, that's odd....I burned it into windows media player and it [the file] came from there as well. I wonder why it won't play there for you. It's the only place I play it as well. (I don't care for music match player -yet) I'm a little tech challenged when it comes to changing format on music, I've never done it and wouldn't know how.

Can anyone offer a suggestion, or instruction on how to change the format- maybe to mp3? It's a 'digitally mastered cd'- I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

And Scribbleros I'll post some country stuff for you within the next few days...I have to change the format before I can download them....

Sounds good. Thanks.
