Music sharing thread...

Wait Remix

This is the remixed version of Wait, with Missy Elliot, Free, Busta Rhymes and Lil' Scrappy.

I have Gold Digger and I'll put it up next.

Thanks, Jinxie....I think you and I will just trade tunes all day. ;)

OK maybe some clarifications should be made as how to do this:

1) Pick a song to upload.
2) Go HERE

3) Click the "Browse" button and go to where the song is on your computer, click OK.
4) Click "Upload" and wait until it is done. When it is done a URL will apprear about 1/2 way down the page similar to this:

Your download link: http://www.easy-share.com/4233/80..The Cult - Wildflower.mp3.html (not a good link!)

Highlight only this part of the above and make sure there are no extra spaces or brackets:

http://www.easy-share.com/4233/80..The Cult - Wildflower.mp3.html (Still not a good link!)

5) Then click the link button on Lit and post the link as usual:

http://www.easy-share.com/4233/80..The Cult - Wildflower.mp3.html (Ok now its a good link!)

This is a great thread, thank you!

I'd upload a few things, but I'm not entirely sure anyone would be all that interested.

Awww go ahead. I'd love to give it a listen.

JinXed, thank you for the info. I seem to not have a choice where to save at the moment. I use AOL and it wouldn't work, so I switched to IE and it helped. I just need to fine tune the location.

Thanks so much. :rose:

Bean, this is just so neat... thanks.

Hey! That's the song I shared in here!

You're saying I didn't copy/paste the link the right way the first time?

Well, I guess you are.

Hmmm, I don't see a diff.

No, I downloaded it. I guess it was the one I used for the example.

Thanks BTW. Good song!

Oh, all that stuff about it being "not a good link!" threw me off!

You're welcome, least I can do for this fabulous thread!

Now if you could just put up some of your namesakes new album, hint hint...

Can someone help me out here? I've tried downloading these songs with my 98 pc and my xp machine. what happens is the same: I get to the webpage, I click the link, media player opens and it says "reached end of file" before it even starts to play anything! what is wrong?

I have every Pink Floyd and Beatles song ever recorded, any request? I have most of the solo John Lennon and Paul McCartney stuff too.

Every Mp3 I've made from my CD collection I recorded them at 320kb. Makes for a tad larger file, but the sound is crystal clear.

Instant Karma! ~ John Lennon

I heard once that there is a pink floyd song that has the kop(Liverpool fc stand) singing you'll never walk alone. I think I heard it was on the 'Division Bell' album. Is this true? Do you have it?

Try right clicking the file once you get to the website and "save linkas" . Then play it from whereever you save it.

That was the first thing I tried. I don't get a "save file as" option on my right-click menu. I get a "save target as" message and the "target" file is a 0k html file with the same name as the mp3.

I also just set my iexplore security permissions to very very loose and I'm still having this issue.

Any other ideas? :(
