First. Let me say I am glad to be back...part time.

Still busy, but I needed some advice and I knew just the people to help me...so here I am!

I am making a CD for a party and I need some advice on songs to include on it. I am pretty much open to any and every type of music. I would like to have a good mix of dance/hip hop/rap/older stuff/heavy metal/fast songs/slow songs. Pretty much...anything goes. (Sex music always accepted)

So...let's make those suggestions because I need to get this thing done. :)

Thanks Guys!!

The Saga Begins by wierd Al yankovic

Here's a couple.....

Express Yourself - N.W.A
Rapper's Delight - Sugarhill Gang

Hey Miss Scarlett darling ... so lovely to see you ...

songs for a party CD, eh? if there's going to be dancing, make room for:

White Wedding by Billy Idol
Love Shack by the B52s

<passing you a mint julip on ice dear> ... ahhhh it's been a while ;)

Also on the same album as Love Shack is a song called June Bug it is one that would be good at a party..

'Bad touch' by bloodhound gang. You gotta dance when you hear that song.

I'm more into the classical and heavy metal types of music (I know, I'm strange), so I'm just guessing here. How about something by Matchbox Twenty, or 3 Doors Down.

sex music is always good?

aight, then...
Closer, Closer to God, and Get Down, Make Love by Nine Inch Nails'll cover that part...
I Disapear by Metallica is good for parties.. Filter is also good.. and White Zombie/Rob Zombie is good for some mindless dancing/thrashing...

and, on a lighter note, Sting's last album has some good songs on it, too...

Hey SimplySouthern it's good to see that you are back! I've been wondering where you went off too!

"Faded" by Soul Decision is popular here right now.

Don't forget your obligatory slow songs to get ppl up close and personal :-> I'm too sleepy right now to think of any though!

"Put your hands where my eyes could see" ~Busta Rhymes
"Return of the Mack" ~Mark Morrison
"Jumper" ~Third Eye Blind
"3 AM Eternal" ~KLF
"Big Poppa" ~Biggy
"Machinehead" ~Bush
"7" ~Prince
"Come as you are" ~Nirvana

"Funk Phenomenom" ~Armand Van Helden
"Someday" ~Sugar Ray
"Ain't too proud to beg" & "Red light special" ~TLC
"First of the month" ~Bone thugs 'n' Harmony
"Eyes Wide Open" ~Creed
